1. What size dumpster do I need?

Ask the dumpster company about the sizes they offer and describe your project to get a recommendation for the appropriate size. 2. What are the rental terms?
Before renting a dumpster, be sure to ask about the rental terms, including the length of the rental period, any fees for exceeding the rental period, and the terms for renewing the rental. Make sure you understand the terms before signing a rental agreement.
At Southern Roll Off Dumpster Rental, we offer same-day delivery with flexible rental periods (30 days is standard, with swap out service as needed). We will rent as long as you need but we typically only place a residential dumpster for seven days and will ask to have a scheduled pick-up planned a few days in advance. However, we have trucks picking up all around the city regularly and can always have them stop by if you're in a hurry.
3. What can and cannot be put in the dumpster?
Dumpster companies may have restrictions on what can be put in their dumpsters, and it's important to understand these restrictions to avoid extra fees or penalties. Ask about any prohibited items and make sure you only put approved items in the dumpster.

Recycling
Items that may not be allowed are the “common sense” things like hazardous waste (like asbestos), motor oil, tires, appliances, or other chemical fluids.
You can put anything into a Southern Roll Off dumpster that is allowed at the local EBR Landfill. Construction materials, home repair and remodel materials, landscaping and yard debris, dirt, rocks, scrap metal, and any other project waste is allowed.

4. How will the dumpster be delivered and picked up?
Ask the company about their delivery and pickup process, including the expected delivery date and time, how long it will take to deliver the dumpster, and what the process will be for picking up the dumpster at the end of the rental period. Make sure you understand the process and are available to receive the dumpster at the scheduled time.
5. What are the total costs?
Before renting a dumpster, make sure you understand all of the costs associated with the rental, including the rental fee, any delivery or pickup fees, and any fees for exceeding the rental period or putting prohibited items in the dumpster.
